The Cardinal changed the age of Confirmation to 8th grade for all parishes starting in Fall of 2024 and the Archdiocese has given parishes 3 years to implement these changes.  St. Agatha Parish made the decision for grades 8, 9 and 10 to have the ability to receive their Confirmation for the 2025-2026 Confirmation season.  This change prepares 8th graders to make their Confirmation in spring of 2026.  Confirmation preparation is still a 2-year program but instead of taking place in grades 9 and 10 it begins earlier, in grades 7 and 8 respectively.  
 
For those students that may be older and looking to reconnect with Faith Formation for their Confirmation I am funneling students to the 8th grade class.  Schedule is still being finalized but grade 8 will meet on Thursdays from 6:45 PM to 8 PM every other week (twice a month) starting in late September/early October and we go into the April/May time frame.
