The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly, Rite of Christian…RCIA) is the Catholic Church’s process for bringing together adults who are interested in being part of the Catholic Church and receiving sacraments. In a comfortable, conversational setting, weekly discussion and presentations aim to help participants draw closer to God, learn about Scripture, prayer, and the life and teachings of the Catholic faith.
OCIA is for:
Someone who was never baptized, or
Someone who was baptized in another faith and now wants to learn about, and become part of, the Catholic Church, or
Someone who was baptized Catholic but never received the sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist (First Communion)
Are you searching for something more? Are you looking for deeper meaning, purpose or a closer relationship with Christ?
Whether you are simply curious about the Catholic faith or feel called to take the next step in your spiritual journey, we invite you to join us. There is no obligation—just an opportunity to ask questions, learn, and explore.
If you, or someone you know is interested in learning more about OCIA, please contact Deacon Kevin to arrange a brief informational meeting. Please fill out the form below and Deacon Kevin will be in touch with you. OCIA Formation classes will be starting this fall.
